Checklist for a Triathlon Training Camp
Whether you've participated in an Ironman in Hawaii before or this is your first time thinking about doing a triathlon or training camp, it's important that you prepare as well as possible. Since any triathlon is very demanding, a lack of preparation could lead to poor performance. Good preparation for triathlon training will serve your safety and will also increase your chances of success.

The optimal conditions for a training camp?
Whether you do sport all the time or just have a general base level of physical fitness, there's no denying the importance of a training camp. Without proper preparation for the zero to 100 training camp, you may well get injured or sick due to the increased demands of the training camp.
You should explore your possibilities and your potential before the camp, in order to train at your performance level, which is optimal for your specific situation.
The last thing you want to happen is that your training camp workouts aren't challenging enough or that you get injured at camp. It's about finding the perfect measure of things in which you can move safely, within your limits.
If at any time you feel you are overtraining, you should take the time to discuss this with your coach. He will make sure in consultation with you that the training is perfectly tuned again.
The packing list, these items you should bring to the training camp?
Basically, it doesn't matter here if you are doing the training camp for an Ironman, an Olympic triathlon or to increase your fitness.
It doesn't matter whether your trip goes, to one of the popular islands like Mallorca, Tenerife, Grand Canaria or whether you train in the surrounding area. Your suitcase will always be quite full and the things you have to pack often only differ in quantity. So have fun packing.

No matter if you go to the training camp with or without your own bike, the basic things to take with you are the same.

In addition to working with the triathlon coach at the right level of performance, don't forget you need to take the right equipment with you. Without it, you will have to make unnecessary trips or additional errands during the camp and will not be able to focus 100% on training.
